The call for entries for the 2017 Amsterdam Screenplay Contest is now open.

The   Amsterdam Screenplay Contest    proudly supports the art of screenwriting by allowing new talent to be heard and discovered in our annual screenplay competition, presented by the Amsterdam Film Festival.  Top screenplays in the competition are awarded based on the quality and originality of the work. The Amsterdam Screenplay Contest  seeks to discover and revere the finest and most original voices in screenwriting from around the globe.

The Amsterdam Film Festival will announce officially the complete list of prize winners and award recipients via Internet and on this website at May 5th, 2017. The Amsterdam Film Festival cannot provide indication of submission status prior to the Official Announcement Date.

* Applicants from the USA may substitute US dollars for Euros.
Screenplays 75 pages and longer are considered features.
